Visit to Astrid Lindgren's birthplace

On Saturday May 28th Shaun Tan visited Vimmerby in the south of Sweden, the birthplace of Astrid Lindgren. During the afternoon he participated in a public event at Astrid Lindgren’s Näs, where he met Professor Astrid Surmatz. The event also included screening of the awarded shortfilm The Lost Thing.
