Litteraturpriset till Astrid Lindgrens minne (ALMA) är världens största barn- och ungdomslitteraturpris. Prissumman är fem miljoner svenska kronor och delas ut årligen till en eller flera mottagare. Författare, illustratörer, berättare och läsfrämjande arbete kan belönas. Syftet med priset är att stärka och öka intresset för barn- och ungdomslitteratur i världen. Priset ska också stärka barns rättigheter på global nivå. En expertjury utser pristagarna som nomineras av institutioner och organisationer från hela världen. Litteraturpriset till Astrid Lindgrens minne administreras av Statens kulturråd, och inrättades av Sveriges regering år 2002.
